Stable Costs
At Pencil Belly Ranch the stable costs include feeding and watering twice
a day plus cleaning once a day by experienced hands. All stalls feature
areas of shade from native oak and bay trees which allow horses to
choose sunshine or shade.

Extra Large box stalls with paddocks $600+/mo
All of the large stalls are at least 12'x15' and have adjoining paddocks measuring at least 20'x30'
Large box stalls with paddocks $550+/mo
All of the medium stalls are 12'x15' with adjoining paddocks that are approximately 20'x25'
Medium box stalls with paddocks $500+/mo
All of the medium stalls are 12'x15' with adjoining paddocks that are approximately 15'x20'
Shared box stall with paddock $1,050/mo & $1,200/mo
At Pencil Belly Ranch we have three stalls that can accommodate two horses each. Each one
features a double stall and large paddock. These double stalls are ideal for the person who wants
to stall his/her horses together or friends who have horses that enjoy each other's company.
The Red Barn with two private paddocks $1,200/mo
The Red Barn is approximately 120 years old, has two stalls with large paddocks and an enclosed
tack room. Owners can access the Red Barn from the heart of the ranch, or from the road
which makes it ideal for individuals who regularly trailer out. It is also the most private accommodation
for horses here at Pencil Belly Ranch.

Boarding fees are due at the beginning of each month. If payment is not received by the 5th, Pencil Belly Ranch will charge $25 fee. If payment is not received by the 10th, Pencil Belly Ranch will charge a $50 fee. If moving horses off Pencil Belly Ranch all personal property must be removed within 30 days or it is considered abandoned property and will be disposed of.
